Established in 2018, WJR prides ourselves on our honesty and the services we provide to our customers. Owner/Founder Wayne started out as a mobile mechanic in 2018, with over 20 years of experience in the industry along with HGV driving including car transportation. It started to become hard to find an insurance policy to cover working on driveways and roadsides for big jobs, so we decided to open up our garage and recovery company to be able to continue to provide our services safely with full insurance for us, and for peace of mind with our customers!
As the business grew through COVID, our first member of staff Jack joined, followed by Dean, then Reanna, Jade and Joe. WJR stands for Wayne, Jade and Reanna. Wayne named it after his family who then became employed – making it a real family ran business! Even more so when Jack and Dean who are great friends, and Joe who has recently joined us making it a really caring establishment to provide the best personal service possible.
We’re not perfect, but we try our best to be! If there are any issues we try our hardest to put things right, with old school values being at the heart of the company.
